Stuff

I need to rescan this, but this will do for now. I had to scan it in two pieces and smoosh it together in Photoshop, so there may still be a seem. I think the strange swirly things are there because the paper wasn't totally flat because I didn't want to tear it out of the book. Think I'll tear it out anyway and rescan it some time this week. First time I've really sat down and drawn anything months. Not too rusty, but I still screwed it up the shading around the middle by thinking it might be a good idea to throw a little charcole in there as well. Not doing that again.

That's amazing Amanda! I love art too, but haven't done anything either in months... perhaps years. I always end up hating it all so have given up. Did you do art at school?

Yeah, a bit. Middle school and a few in high school. Mostly just learned to draw on my own though. Sometimes it's the best way to relieve stress and channel what you can't quite say. That's usually the only time I draw anymore... to bad. I used to be practically unable to stop myself in school.

Hi Lisa.
Glad you finally commented! Heard about you a lot, but as I was just saying to Maurice last night, it seems that you and Tan were the only ones he hangs out with who don't have blogs. Now you do! Very exciting, and I can now blog stalk you as well.
I'm excited to meet you too, and am trying very hard not to count the days until I arrive (counting seems to make it take longer). At least I don't have to wait until August to see my honey!
Thanks for popping in. Please do so frequently.
Talk to you later. :)
