s'more

With my parents

With his family

Our whole family now!

Cherry blossom cake

Mom successfully removes the top to be frozen and eaten later. Ideally we do this on our first anniversary, but we'll still be in Japan during that time.

PS: way to forget about your glasses there Amanda

Cutting our cake.

First bite!

Heading off

Pretty. Thanks Trish, you little scamp. I'll have you know that we pulled over a quarter of a mile later to remove the cans (they're still in my trunk) and the balloons were lost less than half a mile down the highway. Thankfully no cops were around to pull us over for littering...

FRICK!! Blogger is being stupid and not allowing me to post the rest!! I'll have to pick up and end with a third and final post. This is so irritating...

Hello Amanda.
I think it's amusing how uncomfortable he was, seeing me that day. After that I just had to call, sorry sorry.
Congratulations on the wedding. Tasty catch.
So you're the one that there was such a fuss over. Well, whatever you may know of me, here's some advice; any head in the clouds philo talk, fighting, time in the clubs, and ears. Like switches. Flip a track like this, deep and running heavy base.

See what you get, can be pretty fun.
Also, I helped craft some viciousness, shame if it was totally lost.

Congratulations again, little girl.

I saw thaaat, too late to erase, married man. Scoldy scoldy. As you wish, no picking on squeaky-whatever, and I'll stay away but I was merely helping her with what I well remember.
Fun, but no need to get riled, what I said must still be true.
Congratulations again.

The photos are lovely Amanda, the two of you look delightful together.

Isn't it amazing how events such as these bring out the best and worst in people, the anonymous poster must still be looking for their good qualities to share with others. Lets wish them all the luck in the world :)

nicely said jamie.

it's funny, because just the other day I was saying to gus that i hope the anonymous blogger (and doubters) would look at the photos and see really just how great you two look together. clearly though, seeing two people who are in love, and so happy has just created feelings of jealousy for this blogger. i feel sorry for this person. because they will probably never be as happy as amanda and maurice.

and all "the fuss" that you referred to, seems pretty well justified. just look at the fairy tale ending.

Well said Jamie and Karen. In this particular case, I seriously doubt it was difficult for her to draw out her... qualities. The gesture only demonstrates her charming character and willingness to try and harm people she doesn't even know for fun, and embarrass a person she had a meaningless relationship with long ago.
And dear Kamalia, thanks for your advice (which I'm sure was given with complete sincerity and from the bottom of your heart), but I assure you that it is not now, nor ever was needed.

on a lighter note, i really like your wedding cake. was it chocolate? gus and i are having none of this 'traditional fruit cake' at our wedding. chocolate mud cake with white choc icing. mmmmmmm cake. it wouldn't be inapropriate for the bride to stuff herself silly on her weddding day would it?

Yeah, our cake was chocolate; Maurice's suggestion. Good one too. It was covered with this thick chewy really sweet icing stuff. Pretty good but a little too rich (I couldn't gorge myself on it and instead had stop after a little slice). Your cake sounds mighty tasty and it is in no way inappropriate for the bride to eat so much she begins to waddle. Go for it, but just remember bubbly alcohol + really rich cake + lots of yummy food + nerves, might not = the best combo ever. You don't want to be groaning from indigestion on your wedding night. Rumbly stomachs are no fun at all when there is other fun to be had!
